World AIDS Day 2024: Make Progress Together to End the HIV Epidemic

For World AIDS Day 2024 UNAIDS have chosen the theme “Take the Rights Path”. At Gilead Sciences we commit to take that path by supporting people who live with HIV, those who advocate for their health, and the partners we have in the cause for innovation and success of community-lead programs until the virus is eliminated.

While there has been tremendous progress, ending the epidemic requires compassion, courage, and collaboration with and across communities. We must look beyond scientific innovation and lead together to end HIV as the public health challenge it is, also in the Nordic countries that today see the historically largest populations living with HIV.

On December 1, Gilead Sciences joins the communities around the world to honor those whose lives have been impacted by HIV. This is the time to make progress together – leaving no one behind.
